Deborah Galley, Pancreatic Cancer Canada
Debbie Galley was an outgoing and adventurous individual who loved to travel, try new things, and spend time with her friends and family. She moved to England, UK, where she met and married her husband, Michael, and raised their two children, Jasmyn and Jessica. Debbie worked for the British National Health Service for over thirty years as a radiographer.
Debbie was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in August 2016 and passed away on June 1st, 2018. During her battle with the disease she still managed to do what she loved: she took her two daughters on holiday to Greece in May 2017 and went on a family holiday with her husband and daughters to Lanzarote in July 2017. She returned to Canada in August 2017 to spend time with her immediate family and lifelong friends.
Debbie passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa. She will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
