Richard “Dick” James Frazer

(June 30, 1948 – December 8, 2016)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Dick Frazer, after a courageous battle with aggressive pancreatic cancer. Dick is greatly missed by all his friends and family, and is survived by his brother David (Claudia) and sister Margaret, nieces Amanda (Jon) and Emily (Aaron), nephew Ryan (Jess), and many cousins.

In memoriam of Dick, we created this page to help raise funds for pancreatic cancer research to help SAVE LIVES by raising awareness and supporting much-needed research for patients battling this disease.

After 4 weeks of symptoms, Dick was finally diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September and passed only 3 months later.  Unfortunately, this is the reality with pancreatic cancer; it leaves little opportunity for hope or survival once diagnosed.  It has the lowest 5-year survival rate of any major cancer, at only 8 percent. Earlier this year, it was reported that more patients will die from pancreatic cancer than breast cancer, moving pancreatic cancer from the fourth to the third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in North America.

Your donation can help change these statistics and provide much needed HOPE.

An increase in awareness and an investment in research have made a significant impact in fighting other cancers - resulting in saving many lives. That is what we want for pancreatic cancer patients.

New and promising therapies are on the horizon that will help to stem the tide of loved ones lost each year and create a brighter future for those affected by this devastating disease but we need to increase overall funding to make this a reality.

100% of any money raised will be donated towards this important cause.

We thank you in advance for your consideration and support of our fight to end pancreatic cancer.
