Welcome to My Personal Page
Pancreatic Cancer is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. On July 27, 2013, my grandmother Fiorina Ceccanese lost her fight against pancreatic cancer. My nonna was a very happy, funny and loving human being who was loved by everyone who ever met her. Seeing her helpless and eventually losing her was one of the most heartbreaking things I've ever experienced thus far in my life.
This year, an estimated 5,500 Canadians will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Most of these patients will be given less than a year to fight, to live their lives, and make memories with their families. As early as 2020, Pancreatic cancer is on track to become the second deadliest cancer in North America.
We need to beat pancreatic cancer, we need to find a cure. We need to give people more than a year to fight, to live their lives and make memories. We need to give people the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and to live life to the fullest. By donating, YOU are helping to beat this cancer. YOU are supporting those who need it the most. YOU are making the difference in thousands of lives across Canada.
Thank you in advance for your support of my fundraising efforts!
