Gamma-Dynacare Joins the Fight

They are located in more than 75 communities across Canada and strive to be good neighbours by being a positive force for change in people’s lives.

 Each year, with the help of our employees, Gamma-Dynacare chooses one Canadian charity to which to make a significant contribution. Typically it is an organization that promotes health & wellness, has national reach, and supports a cause that is otherwise underfunded and under recognized.

For 2012, Gamma-Dynacare employees voted to support Pancreatic Cancer Canada. We are so grateful for their generosity and for embracing our cause.

On July 26th, Gamma-Dynacare was a sea of purple in celebration of their $25,000 gift to Pancreatic Cancer Canada. Employees wore purple, decorated in purple, held 50/50 draws and in Winnipeg, one employee brought in muffins that were iced in purple to mark this occassion. 

Monies donated will continue to support researchers in their efforts to discover a means to detect and effectively treat pancreatic cancer and thereby, increase the overall survival rate for people diagnosed with this devastating disease.
